Romans 11 continues to shine a light on the fact that we are saved by grace and that our salvation is not something that we earn by works, but rather a free gift given to us by God. And the intention of the first 24 verses of Romans is to call us to humility within our lives, recognizing that we deserve the severity of God but it is only by His amazing grace that we do not experience His wrath. When we fully understand this it will create in us a response of gratitude and a heart that is grateful for the kindness of God. We will understand that the "Wow is Him" has to be bigger than the "woe is me". The more we saturate our hearts and minds with these truths, the more humble we will be and the more in awe of God's miraculous gift we will be.
