The book of Romans is arguably the most complete declaration of the gospel in all of Scripture. As we go through it, Romans is going to teach us that through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ we are made right with God. The "good news" of the gospel is the story of how God provided a way for us to be righteous. We were created perfect and right with God but we lost that in sin. The Bible is the story of how God fixed that problem for us in the person of Jesus. Paul, in the book of Romans, goes to great lengths to exhaust the fact that righteousness is the ultimate goal and faith in Jesus is how we are made right. So, lets focus on Jesus, the point where Heaven came to Earth, born in the flesh, testified by the Spirit by prophecies and power, and evidenced for all of mankind by the resurrection.
