Peter is approaching the end of his life as he writes the book of 2 Peter. His concern is not about catching the sights, accomplishing his bucket list, or even experiencing the warmth of family. His desire was to leave everyone a map to follow. He leaves us a record of truth in this book that we need to remember as we continue to live for the glory of God. He makes it clear that we have everything necessary for life and Godliness.
