The Purpose of Prophecy

In scripture there are many prophecies that have been fulfilled and revealed. When it comes to end times, God has revealed many things with exceptional clarity, many things with partial clarity, and sometimes He gives us no clarity. Our goal should not be to focus so much on what we do not know, rather we should focus on what can be known from His word. Biblical Prophecy serves two primary functions in helping us learn more about end times. They are identifying the Messiah and preparing us for His return.
