The Advent of Peace/The Rapture

The topic of the rapture of the Church can be somewhat controversial in Christian circles. There are many different interpretations of what the Bible says about this particular topic and some of those thoughts bring fear to people. However, if we look at what Paul has to say on the rapture in the book of 1 Thessalonians, then it should give us the passion that he had when telling the Church about the rapture. This should be an encouragement to us. We will not face the wrath of God, we will be caught up with our loved ones in Christ who have already passed. We will all be given glorified bodies in a moment and we will be together again for all of eternity. This should give us peace and encouragement for the future.
