They Have a Chance

Romans 10:13 is perhaps, the grand climax of the book of Romans. If we, broken over our sin, confess the error of our selfish and sinful life, and humbly cry out to Jesus, we will be saved. This is the best news we could possibly receive but then the Spirit of God who is writing through Paul drops something heavy on us. Verse 14 leaves us with a crisis that must be answered. "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" (Romans 10:14 ESV) God wants us to sit with the problem first so that this heavy situation cannot just be known but be felt as well. The conclusion of this verse tells us to share this Good News with as many as possible so that they have a chance to hear the best news anyone could possible tell them.
