God's Goodness Is Greater than Our Grief
Job is a book that we often go to when things are bad. We do this because things are never as bad as they were for Job. No matter what you are dealing with, Job dealt with worse. Now this doesn't necessarily make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside but, as believers, we need to realize and come to the reality that God's glory is worthy of our suffering. If God's grace is greater than our sin, which it is, then God's goodness is greater than our grief. The more we stay committed to His Word and stay in communication with Him through prayer the more He will reveal that to us. We may have to endure some suffering and grief in this life but God has promised us that, if we believe, we will see the glory of God and we will experience the fullness of His goodness. God promises His children that no matter what happens our story will end in restoration.
