Family Values

The falsehood that is spoken about in Ephesians 4:25 is based around the idea that we have to perform some religious activity in order to earn God's favor. For the people at the time, it was concerning the consistent false teaching regarding circumcision. Today, it is the consistent misconception of being a "good" person. Paul teaches us and them that it is not by works of righteousness, but according to His mercy that God saved us. However, when you are welcomed into the family of God, there are some family expectations and family values. Ephesians 4, breaks down just what these values are and as believers, we should want to fulfill these as best as we can.
