Faith & Works

James 2:14 makes the argument that a faith that does not change you, does not save you. On the other hand, at a casual glance, we have Paul in Ephesians 2:8-9, who seems adamant that faith without works is the golden ticket. On the surface it appears that these two are face to face in a screaming match. However, in reality these two are standing back to back. Paul is combating centuries of man-centered theology and works based error. James is combating those on the other end of the spectrum who think that simply agreeing to some facts is the hallmark of salvation. Paul is telling us that you have to change your mind and James is telling us that a changed mind will result in a changed person. Listen in as Pastor Randall describes for us what a changed person does not look like.
