Theres Just Something About That Name

The name Jesus is more than the name of a great teacher, more than the name of an enlightened man, more than the name of a worker of miracles, more than the name of a source of meaning in life, more than the name of a self-help guru, more than the name of a self-esteem builder, more than the name of a political liberator, more than the name of a caring friend, more than the name of a transformer of cultures, and more than the name of a purpose for the purposeless. The name of Jesus is the only hope for eternal life, the only source of forgiven sins, and the only provision we have for peace with God. John 14:6 tells us, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV) There is no other way and there is no other name. Jesus is the only way to salvation.
