Rejoicing In Our Salvation

The beginning of the book of 1 Peter gives a simple, straightforward message of what salvation means. Scripture tells us that God is saving us to an eternity in heaven and from an eternity in hell through Jesus. Salvation is not determined by good deeds or whether or not you think that you are a good person. Believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the one true way to heaven. We need to humble ourselves, step out in faith, admit that we need a Savior, and accept the free gift of salvation that He has offered.
