Is Divorce and Remarriage Sin? - Part 1

This is a two part question and for this sermon we will dive into the first one. Is divorce sin? Marriage is a sacred bond between two people that has been instituted by God. With that being said, the book of Malachi states three significant aspects on the subject. One's wife is one's companion by covenant, the man and the woman are made by God to be one, and God hates divorce. (Malachi 2: 14-16) The intent of God is for a man and a woman to be united into one union until death parts them.
