Free To Live...Filled To Love

The heart of what Paul is trying to tell us at the beginning of Romans 8 is that true love is self-denial. You cannot love without self-sacrifice. Do you want to love God? Then what are you willing to sacrifice? If there is something in your life that is not available to sacrifice, then that is what you love more than God. When we choose the desires of the Spirit over the desires of the flesh then this is how we will love God and love others.
