Israel Personified

The story of Samson in the book of Judges is one that many people are familiar with. Samson is easily the most popular human character in this book, mostly because his speed and strength are on par with super hero status. However, as popular as this story may be, we must focus on not getting caught up too much with Samson himself. He is not the main character, rather God is the main character. God allows scenarios to play out that are going to place Samson in the right place and time. God is the one who is at work to save Israel once again. Samson is just the tool that God is directing. This is once again a story of God's faithful provision to a faithless people. God's nature is that of a loving father who wants the best for His children.
