The Law of the Harvest

As we move into Chapter 9 in the book of Judges, we find the story of Abimelech. Abimelech did evil against his father and because of this God returned the evil by the killing of Abimelech's brothers. What we find here is the Biblical principal of sowing and reaping. Galatians 6:7-8 says, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life."
