Voices in My Head

In 1 Samuel 26, we find Abishai, one of David's mighty men, encouraging David to let him kill Saul as they found him sleeping. However, David knew that this did not line up with God's Word so he refused to let Abishai kill Saul. The questions for us in today's world are 1) Is the thing that you are hearing lining up with the character of Christ? and 2) Is the thing that you are saying lining up with the character of Christ? These are two very important questions that we must ponder when the world around us is constantly feeding us non-Biblical thoughts and ideas.
