Godly Attributes

The story surrounding David and Saul in 1 Samuel 24 shows us many Godly attributes that David had. So much so that we are reminded of what Jesus said in Luke 6:35. He tells us, "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked." This is the standard for Godliness. This is how God operates and this is how David operated in this chapter. Let David be an example for us and show love where love is not deserved.
